Fabric Scrap

Much of Central Texas is currently experiencing conditions of extreme drought. As a result, we have much less grass cover than normal, with many areas of exposed soil that are experiencing erosion.

The yard around my house contains a great deal of fill dirt that was added when the house was built to lessen the slope it's built on, so our yard in particular is eroding especially badly right now in areas of little grass cover.

I recently spotted the top of this little scrap of fabric sticking out of the ground and pulled it out because I was curious a[bout it. All but the exposed top were covered in dirt, so I washed it.

The thing is, even though it was found shallowly buried in my yard, I don't recognize it at all. Which, knowing some things I know now, makes me even more curious about it. It's a very sheer fabric, like part of a scarf or an overlay, or perhaps from a pair of stockings or tights, The colors are quite bright.

If anyone recognizes this fabric, please leave a comment here. I have the comments set for moderation, so your information won't be published, instead remaining private for me to pass on to the appropriate law enforcement agencies if need be. My hope is that someone who is a member of law enforcement will recognize it.

"Domestic Terrorism"

The following is a copy, slightly edited, of a statement that my adult daughter, who lives with me, recently submitted to law enforcement.  The incidents described here took place on February 27th and February 28th of this year.  As of yet, she has had no response from San Antonio, state, or federal LE agencies of any kind.

I am [name, age, address, and contact info. omitted].  I am a self-employed professional free-lance artist with a degree in illustration from [a major East Coast art college].  I live with my mother [name omitted], who is a long-time stalking victim of her ex-husband and my father [name omitted] and numerous relatives and associates of his.  After I willingly provided samples of my DNA to two different law enforcement agencies for filial analysis with regard to investigations involving my father a few years ago, I too became a victim of organized stalking and harassment.

I decided to drive from my home in Fredericksburg to San Antonio for the day on 2/28/2017, for a combination of work and pleasure.  I left my house around 8 AM, driving south and east on first Hwy 87 and then I-10.  At the time I left, I was already frightened and upset because of an incident that had occurred the previous day at the Whataburger restaurant in Fredericksburg, when I'd gone there for lunch around 11:30 AM and an elderly white male with glasses had come up to me, glared at me, and then started reaching for a very large knife that he had sticking up out of his back pocket so he was certain I'd seen it.

As soon as I turned onto Hwy 87, I noticed that I was being followed and tailgated by numerous vehicles of all sorts.  Many of these were weaving dangerously in and out of traffic.  This continued for my entire trip to San Antonio, and the speeds involved in this on I-10, plus the fact that I drive a very small car, made the trip particularly frightening.  Along the way, I saw numerous marked police vehicles of various sorts and entities parked along the sides of the roads.  Uniformed officers in these vehicles had to have seen what was going on, but none of them did anything at all to help me.

In San Antonio, I exited I-10 at the Fredericksburg Road exit.  As I did so, two mid-sized SUVs, one white and one very light silver, tried to run my car off the road. [Note that my car is also white.]  A third vehicle, a black car, attempted to do the same, but failed.  This happened around 9 AM and should be clearly visible on any surveillance cameras in the area.

Around 11 AM in the area around the Witte Museum, a skinheaded white or Hispanic male began tailgating my car very aggressively in a red pickup truck.  When I turned onto a side street, he followed me and then pulled up right behind me and glared at me angrily.

Later, I went to Crossroads Mall.  As I started walking toward Target around 1:30 PM, I realized that I was being followed by a very thin white male, over 6 feet tall, with dark or tanned skin, quick/athletic, and wearing glasses, a white hat, and a brown poofy wig.  This man kept getting closer and closer to me, and as he got nearer, I felt threatened and sped up in an effort to get away from him.  I hurried toward Target, because there was no one around in the parking lot to help me; as I sped up, he did as well.  This was absolutely terrifying.  The man was right behind me when I entered Target, but when I turned to the right a short distance inside, I saw him hurry off heading straight into the store.

My drive home was the same as my drive down:  same route, same problems with being aggressively tailgated and driven around at high rates of speed, etc.  And once again, I saw numerous marked police vehicles parked along the roadsides doing nothing to stop the dangerous drivers, even when they were clearly tailgating me, changing lanes without signaling, not bearing legal license plates (many had no plates at all), etc.

I was so shaken with fear by the time I got home that I was uncertain about what I should do.  I did almost immediately sit down and draw the man who chased me through the parking lot, since I'd had no chance to photograph him.  I am good at drawing faces, so I drew him without the wig and hat to show his facial structure.  Both of us should be easily visible on cameras in the mall parking lot.

I have finally calmed down enough to be able to report what happened yesterday.  I expect the San Antonio Police Department, the Texas DPS, and any other law enforcement entities with jurisdiction to investigate what was done to me very thoroughly.  I am also providing copies of this statement of mine to the LE agencies that I provided DNA samples to, and I am sending copies to the FBI and the DOJ/  I will be happy to answer any and all questions anyone might have to the best of my ability.

My daughter insists on calling what is being done to her domestic terrorism.  I'm not sure I can go that far, but I can certainly understand her being able to make a case for this. Certainly, these incidents are classic organized stalking.

Besides the obvious threats to my daughter's safety, I hope readers from outside this area will begin to grasp the sheer extent and magnitude of the lawlessness that exists here, because I realize how hard it is to wrap your head around this until you actually see and experience it. Situations and conditions like this simply can't exist unless there is a total lack of functioning law enforcement!

Coincidentally (???), I have become aware that there have been major recent developments in both of the homicide cases that my daughter provided evidence for.

By the way, I immediately recognized both of the men in my daughter's drawings below.  The first is a close associate of my ex-husband's who has been involved in stalking incidents with me numerous times going back to 1999.  The second is a man who has also been involved in many stalking incidents targeting me, including some where he followed me out-of-state;  I believe him to be a professional (=hired) stalker.  If he is the man I believe him to be, his natural hair color is light sandy/red.

Slasher

First, see my post below from 12/1/15.

Now see above; once again, someone has broken into our house and slashed some of our food with a knife, this time a plastic bag containing bread that was in our refrigerator.  It's hard to see in the photo, but there are a number of cuts in the bag that were clearly made with a knife; it's not just one hole.

Organized stalkers do this sort of thing all the time in order to harass and frighten their victims.  In our case, many of the incidents involve knives, because the stalkers know my adult children and I are afraid of my ex-husband; see many posts on this blog plus his numerous bizarre and rambling comments here.

It does little good to complain to local law enforcement about the constant break-ins, harassment, illegal surveillance that is 24/7, and more, since law enforcement personnel are in on it--they openly follow us around in their marked vehicles doing headlight and turn signal harassment.  (The latter is when vehicles are illegally modified so that one or both turn signal lights can be turned on all the time without blinking.  Headlights are also illegally modified so that their intensity can be dialed up and down independently of each other.)

As I've said many times before, our entire community participates in this and finds it amusing.  It's unbelievable and sick, but they breed that here.

License Plates

In previous posts, I've discussed the fact that at any given time, approximately one out of every four vehicles seen on our Central Texas roads and highways have license plate violations. (I'm not exaggerating. I've done the surveys and the math.) These violations include missing front plates, non-matching front and back plates, plates that belong on a different vehicle, improper or fake plates, fake or expired temporary tags, obscured plates (by plastic covers, dirt, frames, etc.), and even plates that can be flipped up or down or changed in other ways while the vehicles is in motion. The vast majority of these plate violations are so blatant and the number of violations is so great that they beg the question of why local law enforcement refuses to do anything about them.

To victims of organized stalking like myself, however, the most interesting type of illegal license plates has to be the ones that appear to be Texas custom plates containing messages clearly meant for us that are being illegally manufactured by someone and then paraded by us (sometimes repeatedly) by stalkers. For example, as I filled up my vehicle with gas before going to Boerne to meet with private investigators Ken Hays and Jack Short for the first time, someone drove an older model gold-colored sedan with a Texas plate that read "SET UP" by me repeatedly. Short and Hays then conned and defrauded me as detailed elsewhere in this blog, and Hays turned out to head the organized stalking ring that continues to victimize my children and me. Since my original encounter with this plate, I have observed it many additional times on numerous other vehicles, often just before I've been victimized in other ways. The older gold car I first saw the plate on has also had Texas plate R34-XBN on it, by the way.

While I have no doubts at all that some of the Texas custom license plates I've observed are genuine, I'm equally certain that many of them are bogus, either because of the message/s they contain that are clearly directed at me, or because they contain words or meanings that I'm sure the State of Texas would never allow on a legal plate.

Listed below are examples of Texas plates my kids and I have seen over the years:

Finally, I'm including a copy of a recent comment of my ex-husband's that gives his explanation for the use of illegally manufactured custom license plates in organized stalking:

I have a way to sort my email into piles which I do not even open. Much like junk mail at home. I don't purposefully discard them either. I sometimes take paint pictures of the threats that roll in ... health, robbery, vandalism, heart, diabetes, lung, car wrecks, bad knees ... ANYTHING they can think of with my family including putting their names on car tags and short words of things we talked about (I.E: "SUZYCASA" when I discussed buying a house with my niece. (her name is NOT suzy they used her real name) my GOD it goes on and on and on. I consider it theater. Probably because I just do. I live my life very well and while I prefer it here of course; I am not afraid to die. I am actually a perfect target. I am also the perfect storm, too stupid to be scared.(that's a bad joke) I'll tell you what worries me the most with you is that catapault sounding thing. I've had them swerve their whole cars right at me. That pretty much ceased with the video camera. You are so brave and so full of heart's courage, just corral that email and CONTROL IT. Don't read it like they want you to. Delay reading it or filter it if you can to delay reading it. THAT way it loses its effectiveness A GREAT DEAL. I patiently went through and "spammed" the pieces until EVERY piece in my inbox was ABSOLUTE EMAIL and I give THAT address to NO ONE. NO ONE. THEN I go to the bulk folder every few days or once a week (and NOT at the same time) and I take "paint" or copy/paste to word I also copy the paints to word maybe I should call them screen shots .. of all the bulk that seems threatening. I VERY VERY RARELY read it.
For awhile they sent those ... "substance abuse" (going to addict my family to drugs) "find a home for OLD MOM" "auto glass" ... OH MY GOD IT GOES ON AND ON. I found the COLOMBIAN AUTO GLASS (who was a regular stalker) guy's picture on the sheriff's website and so there went all of that stuff amazing how they know I find out who they are and then don't show up anymore, huh? They're looking for a way to get a toe and claw hold. ANYTHING. ANYTHING.

The Most Corrupt Town In America

The town in which I live in Texas is the second most popular tourist destination in the state, after the Alamo/Riverwalk. It’s a charming and quaint little town settled by German immigrants in the mid-1800s and nestled within the scenic hill country of Central Texas. It’s also arguably the most corrupt town in the country.

My former husband was born and raised here and is from one of the original German families that settled here. We met in Houston in 1977, married there in 1981, and moved here in 1986 so my husband could realize his dream of opening a business here alongside his father and brother. We had three children, and after moving here, I became a stay-at-home mom. In 1988, we purchased property just down the street from my husband’s business and built what I considered our dream home.

Everything suddenly changed in 1999, when with no prior warning, my husband suddenly left me for a co-worker to whom he is now married. Shortly after this, I discovered to my shock that the entire town had not only known about my husband’s affair for 12 years but had also conspired to keep me from finding out about it and considered what was being done to me hilarious. Locals I’d considered my friends for years began openly laughing at me, belittling me, and harassing me. They did repeated drive-bys of our house, openly trespassed on my property to leave trash and party paraphernalia and commit acts of vandalism, disturbed us with prank calls, let our livestock out, killed some of our animals, harassed my kids at school, and more. When I tried to get help from local law enforcement, they wouldn’t do anything; in fact, it quickly became apparent that they were active participants in the harassment. (The local police chief is one of my ex-‘s closest friends.) The mayor’s family’s car dealership suddenly couldn’t seem to repair the brakes on my van, and they failed suddenly and completely for over six months. I discovered numerous life insurance policies had been taken out on me that I knew nothing about.

I began finding evidence of people using my property for drug trafficking and discovered our town was openly advertising which tourist events would be drug-free. I became frightened and notified the FBI, but they wouldn’t do anything.

When both my ex-husband and the city began contacting me about developing the property around our house that I’d been awarded in my divorce at the same time the local tax appraisal office suddenly revoked my ag. exemption, I told them I wasn’t interested. The harassment directed at us then began to worsen, so I hired a Dallas-area p. i. to get evidence for a court case. Instead, this investigator lied to me about his licensing status, concealed ties he had to our area and my ex-, and forged my name on a fraudulent trust document that was filed by the county clerk’s office even though it wasn’t properly notarized and gave total control of my house and property to the p.i. and a lawyer-friend.

I discovered the p.i. had defrauded me, fired him, and caught him meeting with my ex-husband. On advice from the FBI, I hired two new p.i.s who were both former federal agents. These two persuaded me to hire a lawyer they worked with, and all three of them charged me large fees to work on what they said was a statement for law enforcement. They insisted on meeting with me in various unusual public places where strange people filed by repeatedly, laughing and acting strangely; one of these places was a business owned by the mayor of another nearby town. When they continued to stall, I confronted them, spotted my former father-in-law driving away from this meeting, and fired them.

In the meantime, I discovered the local tax appraisal office had changed the owner’s address on my house and property to that of my ex-husband’s office. I also learned the tax office was using the fraudulent trust to conceal huge increases in my appraisals and zoning changes on my property from residential to commercial. Two appraisal district employees illegally forced their way onto my property and took photos they later openly gave me copies of at a protest hearing. I was unable to find a single attorney to take my case despite a year of extensively trying. The county judge, also a close friend of my ex-‘s, began applying for zoning changes on property of his located close to mine. My ex-husband and his father began trying to force my over-18 children to sign trust documents giving my ex- complete control of all their assets (which they have few of unless they inherit from me).

In desperation, I took the fraudulent trust document to a document examiner with FBI ties and received a report confirming the fraud. I hired the “trust attorney” the expert recommended, but as soon as I did so, the p.i. whose name was on the fraudulent document filed a lawsuit against me claiming large sums for “trust work” he’d never done and “back taxes” I’d already paid and had receipts for. The p.i. also got a former Secret Service agent to falsely testify that the trust document was genuine. A supposed mediation session headed by a retired judge turned out to be hours of people trying to force me to sign off on a trust I knew had never existed and pay them money to “make this all go away”.

I also hired a supposed national expert on police corruption to help me deal with continuing severe harassment and break-ins by local police officers. Instead, this expert conspired with local law enforcement to defraud me. When I discovered what was going on and confronted him, the expert began libeling and defaming me on his website, and he allowed the local police chief to use his site for this as well. I began filing serious federal complaints, at which time a law enforcement officer sent me a copy of my own supposedly private fax to an attorney and also a death threat. The expert emailed me threats of an illegal invasion of our home by local police and tried to frighten me into paying more money to go away. The Texas Rangers, FBI, and DOJ all refused to do anything.

Since then, locals continue to openly gang-stalk, harass, and defame me, even bragging about it on the Internet. Local businesses think it’s funny to blatantly cheat me. A local bank refuses to give my children complete copies of their own bank statements, and the Federal Reserve refuses to do anything about it. Local postal employees tamper with and steal our mail and the USPS won’t stop it. My ex-, who apparently uses the code name “Trammel” for what he’s doing to me, brags about stealing everything I have, preventing me from working (anyone who tries to hire me for a job that pays a living wage will be threatened), bankrupting me with legal fees, and preventing me from leaving town (because I don’t have clear title to my property and therefore can’t sell it, the main asset I received in our divorce settlement). He and the city have begun serious commercial development of all the property surrounding mine. Law enforcement at all levels refuses to do anything. The federal government even refuses to deal with the fact that I’ve documented the use of federal surveillance and other equipment (some of which is manufactured here, and over $30 million worth of which is missing) in the stalking and harassment of my children and me. Now I’m told by an outside expert that there’s a good chance my passport and those of my children have been used to open bank accounts, obtain loans, and commit financial fraud overseas without our knowledge.

Recently I’ve learned the Germans who originally settled here were from two shiploads of convicts who were not welcomed at other German settlements in Texas. They are so clannish that they have intermarried extensively and have their own language (a combination of Low German and English that is being studied at U. of Texas) that they use as a secretive code, both for communication among themselves and to belittle and defame people nearby them.

I’ve been unable to find an attorney anywhere in the U.S. who is willing to properly represent me, despite years of constantly searching, meaning my civil right to proper legal representation is being violated. My alimony ends in February 2011, and I’m not sure what to do at this point; I’m exhausted from trying to deal with what is clearly an overwhelming situation. Also, my oldest daughter and I are to some extent prisoners in our own home, since if we leave it unattended, police and other locals immediately break in, commit acts of vandalism, and remove incriminating documents. (No security companies are allowed to set up shop here unless they are corrupt.) We are not the only victims here by any means, either, despite the fact (or perhaps because of it?) that numerous current and former high-level state and federal officials (including former CIA agents) live here or have ties here.

ALL of this is extensively documented in various places throughout this blog. Now go back and re-read the previous post entitled “Empire Builders”. Then either move here at your own risk or sit back and wait for this to come to a city or town near you. You may not need to wait long, either, because the fact that this could happen here at all means organized crime must already be running the United States.

A Shocking Statistic

Today the San Antonio Express-News reported a 36 percent increase in aggravated family violence cases in San Antonio since January. Yes, you read that correctly.

Am I shocked?--yes!, deeply shocked and saddened. Am I surprised?--no, not at all. Not when community leaders openly brag about committing acts of criminal abuse against their family members as they do in their comments on this blog. Not when they openly threaten others with acts of domestic abuse and violence as they do in their comments on this blog. Not when their followers openly do the same in their comments on this blog. And certainly not when they all openly hold parties to celebrate and brag about the committing of these acts.

Why does this happen, and why is it escalating so rapidly? Certainly flawed morals, ethics, and attitudes of the perpetrators and participants are involved. The "I don't want to get involved" attitudes of bystanders, whether out of laziness, ignorance, or fear, is another huge factor. So is rampant substance abuse.

However, I believe the biggest root cause of this increase is the rampant corruption that currently exists in local law enforcement at all levels. It's a well-known fact that most abusers don't stop until they start facing negative consequences from their actions; in fact, their abuse usually gets worse over time. When abusers know the right people around here, law enforcement can't or won't take action to stop them, and they brag about getting away with their abuse. This only empowers them and makes following them attractive to insecure others. (I hope you see the parallels to bullying and stalking here!) Rumor has it that a significant number of local law enforcement officers are in fact seriously abusive themselves.

Loved ones of victims and supporters of domestic violence prevention organizations are doing a good job of calling attention to the scope of the problem through vigils, press releases, publicity, and the like, but until the root causes of domestic abuse, domestic violence, bullying, and stalking (which are all related problems) are addressed, and victims receive actual help instead of being turned away or the "run-around", I predict the numbers of victims will continue to climb dramatically.

On a more positive note (I LOVE positive notes!), I'd like to thank the Hispanic gentleman who saw me struggling with heavy feed sacks at the store today, came over, and loaded them for me. His kindness was much-appreciated. (Boos and hisses go out to the other people who were sitting in nearby vehicles watching and laughing.)

What You Can Do

For over 11 years now, I've been asking people and organizations for help. The responses I've received to these requests number in the thousands, and they are always the same: either they can't help, they won't help, they will help but only on their terms (which usually means victimizing us further), they dump me on someone else, they simply don't bother to respond at all, or they respond with even more harassment. In fact, I have actual examples of each of these types of responses to my requests for help already posted on this blog. (I'll let you find them. It won't take you long.)

Recently, however, I received a single response that was unique. It basically said, "I've been reading your blog. Your situation is frightening. The comments people are leaving are awful. What can I do to help you?" There were no conditions or gimmicks with this offer--it was simply one person caring enough about another to share some kind words of support and extend a hand. I was deeply moved.

Unfortunately, at the time I first saw this, I was also very tired and stressed-out from having to deal with several other situations that were not nearly as uplifting. I fired off a quick reply in which I thanked the person and offered up the first couple of suggestions that came to mind.

Later when things were quieter, however, I started to meditate on the frankly miraculous offer I'd received--how it was that one person out of literally thousands had had both enough empathy for us and enough courage (because, realistically, certain aspects of our situation are scary; see for example some of the threats against me in some of the comments elsewhere) to take action. I was and still am humbled and amazed and grateful.

At the same time, I realized I'd done a lousy job of responding to the offer. Because both our specific situation and what I've been learning about the situation in general have been escalating so seriously and so rapidly over the last few years, and also because no other meaningful offers of assistance have come in, I simply haven't taken much time to sit down and reflect about what specific kinds of assistance would be most effective. In fact, the last time I remember doing anything like this was the last time someone else cared enough to actually reach out to me, which was to urge me to start this blog about what was going on here because they believed exposing the truth would probably be the best way for us to get much-needed assistance. This is what eventually let to what you are now reading, although I confess it took me several months to work up enough courage to start it (and I am very much afraid the person who suggested it may have been retaliated against).

Of course I have some definite ideas about ways people can help both us and other victims. Right now, probably the most important and effective thing you can do is to simply tell as many people as possible what is going on here in Central Texas and elsewhere, because knowledge and truth are very powerful agents of change. Spread the word about this blog. Talk to people about the information and the documentation posted here, and make it clear to them as you do so that the criminal and immoral acts being perpetrated are not acceptable in any civilized society, much less in a country where individuals supposedly have basic civil and constitutional rights.

Once people have used this blog to educate themselves on the wrongs being committed, it's essential that they let their elected officials know in no uncertain terms that they 1) are aware of what's going on, and 2) insist it be stopped as quickly as possible. It only takes a few minutes to send an email or a brief letter to the White House, the Office of the Vice President, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, and the CIA, for example. Specifically, tell them you're aware people's basic rights to privacy, proper legal representation, proper treatment by elected and public officials, protection by (and from!) law enforcement, protection from illegal incarceration and involuntary commitment, and more are being blatantly violated on a wholesale basis here. Make it clear to our governmental leaders that federal surveillance and other equipment MUST be fully accounted for at all times and that misuse of it will not be tolerated. Also make it clear that illegal targeting of individuals for gang/organized stalking, torture, and death is an abomination that cannot be tolerated in America (or anywhere else!). Be sure to let these officials know you are fully aware that right-wing political extremists and international multi-billion-dollar corporations and powerful families are behind this and that you are absolutely opposed to letting them run or influence the government of our country. Finally, let officials know you are aware of the extensive corruption that already exists within law enforcement, the legal/judicial system, and the military and that you also know the media is deliberately concealing the extent of this. NONE of this is acceptable in a supposedly free country, and it has ALREADY reached levels that border on third-world status in the U.S. Then start sending out the same kinds of emails and letters to every media contact and outlet you can think of.

The other critically important things you can do to help in general are to VOTE and VOTE RESPONSIBLY. This means not being lazy: too lazy to go to the polls, too lazy to properly research the candidates, or too lazy to insist on quality candidates. (The corollary to this is that quality candidates must step up and run for office so responsible voters have good choices.) To paraphrase T. R. Fehrenbach, people end up with the kind of government they deserve.

There are also smaller but important things you can do to help on a daily basis. Make truthfulness, morality, ethics, and respect for others high priorities in your life. Don't use, participate in, or tolerate hate speech, prejudice, bullying, harassment, or stalking. According to AC360, about one-third of people who witness these look the other way instead of doing anything to stop them (and I suspect this figure is too low), yet doing nothing has the same result as making a conscious decision to let them continue. Also be aware these are more ADULT problems than children's problems. (Guess where the children learn them??) Finally, do a reality check on your use or misuse of drugs, both illegal and prescription. I'm sure by now you understand that by buying these, you're supporting violence and corruption in Mexico and elsewhere, but please also be aware that you're supporting it in the U.S. as well.

As far as specifically helping my children and me, we STILL need proper legal help and representation. I've been constantly searching for this for eleven years now without success and have in fact been cheated and conned horribly by more attorneys than I can count. My ex-husband openly brags that he and his associates can either "get to" any attorney I try to hire or bankrupt me with excessive legal fees, since our adversaries have unlimited legal and financial resources, so I've been advised to seek pro bono help but have been unable to find this. The legal situation my children and I are currently facing is dire, and the way we are being denied proper representation is a blatant violation of our civil rights, but the DOJ has repeatedly refused to do anything. We also need relief from the gang stalking, illegal surveillance, and financial crimes committed against us on a daily basis.

As more issues emerge, I'll try to add them to this post, so you might want to check here periodically. For example, I could use some assistance from a legitimate investigator somewhere in trying to identify who was using an older blue sedan (a Ford, I think?) with Texas plates DXH-192 [note: plates around here do not always match the vehicle they're on] that was parked directly in front of the fire hydrant by our driveway when I came back from walking my dog last night. It was still there several hours later when trespassers from it were running repeatedly across our front yard yelling in the dark and a red car I've seen parked at my ex-husband's office many times drove down in our yard with its headlights off. These people all ran for their vehicles and sped off when my oldest child and I finally decided to go out and film them prior to calling the police, even though the police never do anything.

I mentioned this column above by T. R. Fehrenbach a few days ago. Then when I saw this new editorial in one of the local papers, I was reminded of Fehrenbach's column again, so I decided to post both pieces together here for your thoughtful consideration. I believe they are most definitely related to each other.

Our young people have grown up looking to the same leaders adults in the communities have chosen to follow (both elected and secret). When our youth see these chosen leaders saying one thing but doing something completely different--and being glorified and rewarded for doing so--why is anyone surprised when young people want to emulate them? (See my previous discussions of this in my posts entitled "Compare and Contrast", "The Coach", and "Almost Daily", for example.)

Many of the problems mentioned in the local editorial are related to a serious lack of properly functioning law enforcement. These are small communities where everyone knows everyone (and is usually related to everyone) and knows everyone else's business, and this certainly includes law enforcement officers and officials. In fact, officers are not hired here unless they are very well-known within the community, which often means we go without personnel until someone with local roots graduates from the police academy. There are simply no valid excuses for the way law enforcement turns a blind eye to what is going on or even actively participates. Given that our law enforcement leaders are either appointed by elected officials or elected outright means you can read the Fehrenback piece again substituting the words "law enforcement" for "government".

Other small Texas communities in similar situations have lost an entire generation of young people to substance abuse, incarceration, and/or violence (Balmorhea, for example), and we are perilously close to that here. Our youth are too young to have had any direct participation in most of the leadership decisions that have led to the current situation, meaning they are innocent victims. What kind of message do you think it sends them when they see all the honest, decent, hardworking, and truly caring people in our communities repeatedly victimized and systematically and deliberately run out of town rather than being encouraged and supported and appreciated by their communities? By this, I mean the people like me who not only say we love our young people but back this up with our actions on a daily basis. And yes, this sometimes means tough love, where young people are held responsible for their actions on an age-appropriate basis and required to understand and accept the consequences of their behavior.

The author/s of the local editorial ask what citizens are willing to do to help our young people. My response is to start with making better leadership decisions. There needs to be a lot done, and it had better be done quickly and involve a majority of the community. The infection here is so deep-rooted that it needs to be surgically incised in order to heal. Covering it up with a bunch of band-aids will only allow it to keep festering and destroying lives.

People Named George

In some of my previous posts I've written about a man whose first name is George. Now it's time for me to write about two people with the last name of George.

On 3/27/03, a woman named Clara Cortez George, 27, died at the Gillespie County jail in Fredericksburg. The official version of her death as reported in the newspapers at the time was that she had been arrested when she made a planned appearance at the county courthouse at 11:30 AM and was found dead in a jail cell at 12:45 PM with her blouse tied around her neck. Her death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

However, a local insider with ties to law enforcement told me Ms. George had actually been raped and strangled by a jailer. The person who told me this said the police chief didn't want any negative publicity and "ran the jailer out of town" instead of prosecuting him. I was (and still am) shocked to hear this--but not surprised, given many of the other things that go on within local law enforcement.

In February of 2007, I ran across another Ms. George. I'd driven down to San Antonio to meet with my lawyer at the time (whom I later had to fire when I discovered she'd misrepresented me). When I arrived at her office, my attorney asked me to wait in her conference room while she took an important phone call. While I was sitting there waiting, it was impossible not to notice a large number of legal documents that had been left on the conference table in plain sight, but I tried to ignore them because I knew they were probably confidential. However, when my attorney finally came in, she actually pointed them out to me and said they were from the case of a female client of hers whose last name was George. Rather than repeat what my lawyer told me about them, I'm posting an excerpt from a 2/15/07 email I sent to Diop Kamau (whom I also believed to be working for me at the time, although I learned differently later) in which I described what I'd been told in detail shortly after I was told it.

This incident bothered me right from the start for a number of important reasons that had nothing to do with the last name of this woman and the earlier fail victim being the same. For one thing, it was obvious my attorney wanted me to see the documents (by leaving them out and then seating me right next to them). In fact, I later realized that my lawyer may have finally come back into the room only after it became apparent to anyone who might have been watching from nearby that I was not going to examine the documents on my own. For another thing, it did not seem professional or even proper for my attorney to discuss someone else's case with me in such detail. The biggest red flag of all for me, though, was the fact that so many of the same people (lawyers, document expert, and judge), places (Boerne and Kerrville), and circumstances (fraudulently obtaining real estate, wills, and trusts) were involved in both my case and Ms. George's case. My discomfort at having been given all this information about someone else's case without being able to understand why was the reason I emailed Kamau about what had happened. I was hoping he'd be able to explain what was going on, but he didn't.

I do not know either of these women named George personally, and I have no idea whether they or their cases relate to each other. It would certainly be extremely interesting if they do turn out to be related--but it doesn't matter if they're not, since each deserves to be mentioned here in their own right.

Update: Clara Cortez George's sister, Maricela Cortez Rosa (44), died on April 29, 2010 (shortly after I posted this!) in Fredericksburg of unknown causes.

Update: Another sibling has died suddenly and too young.

They Do What?

In my previous post, I discussed the prevalence of drug use in our communities in Central Texas. Now I'd like to illustrate the scope of the problem more overtly.

Shown here is an announcement that was published in the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post. Reading the portion I've marked will allow you to discover that they actually have to publish it in the newspapers ahead of time when community events will need to be drug-free.

There is no other possible explanation for announcements like these than that law enforcement is being deliberately selective about when and where drug laws are enforced. (This particular event is held yearly and is marketed to families, so I'm guessing they'd had complaints in the past.)

You simply can't have situations like this if law enforcement is doing their job properly. And please don't try to convince me that the DEA and DOJ don't know about this; when law enforcement is dysfunctional on such a large scale, there's no way they could not know what's going on here.

There are a couple more important pieces of information you need to have. This particular announcement was actually published on 4/27/03 (!!) and was included in my complaints to the U.S. DOJ that were the subject of their response posted here on 9/20/09 and entitled "Response From DOJ". If this isn't a documented, clear-cut example of local, state, and federal law enforcement conspiring together to aid and abet organized crime, I don't know what is. It makes you think twice about suspicious death cases like those of Theresa Vallado, where local police were the last people to see her alive, and Linda Muegge, where local police showed up at the scene way too quickly according to published newspaper accounts.

Please keep in mind that we are located in Central Texas, well inside the United States and not right along the border. (Suddenly this side seems less safe and secure and more like what's going on in Mexico, doesn't it?) With a situation like this, is it really any wonder victims of drug addiction and crime find it impossible to get the help they need, deserve, and are entitled to here?

You might find it helpful at this point to go back and read or re-read my post of 12/8/09 entitled "Texas As A Third World Country" below. How entire communities can base their economies on narcotourism is beyond me. (What were they thinking?)

Update: Things don't exactly seem to be getting any better... (Remember, these are high school students being discussed here.)

Big Brother Reprise

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott recently released an opinion that no medical treatment, testing, or evaluation is required before someone is transported to a mental health facility. He issued this ruling at the request of Kerr County law enforcement officials, who claim it takes up too much of their time to have patients properly evaluated before they are committed to the new mental health facility that I previously discussed in some detail in "Issues of Commitment".

Previous news reports had mentioned conflicts between local law enforcement officers wanting to just drop patients off at this facility and Hill Country MHMR officials who were insisting patients needed to be thoroughly evaluated first. This new ruling by the AG means people can be involuntarily committed without even undergoing basic medical examinations and blood tests--how Orwellian is that? If you live in the area served by this facility and are not concerned, you should be.

A Good Ear

Many years ago I took some advanced training in music and discovered I had a naturally good ear for it. Occasionally this ability comes in handy.

When the man who called me on 9/13/07 and said he was an FBI agent but couldn’t decide which office he was from—he first said “Milwaukee” and then said “Oh, sorry, I meant San Antonio”--was talking, I immediately noticed his unusual and distinctive high-pitched voice. During my conversation with him, I became even more alarmed when he tried to convince me to sell my property and leave town and then started quizzing me about whether I’d ever gone to the DEA with information about local drug trafficking we’d observed and uncovered. At that point I realized he’d never even given me his name, and I ended the conversation as quickly as possible.

After I got off the phone from this call, I was so suspicious and frightened that I immediately began contacting both the San Antonio FBI office and, later after I’d had no response from them, the DOJ, asking them to either confirm or investigate the call and caller. Eventually, I received only a strange letter from the DOJ refusing to either confirm or deny that the caller was in fact an FBI agent, but I continued to remember the man’s distinctive voice and felt sure I’d recognize it if I ever heard it again.

Recently I did. I’d made an appointment with the local dealer to have routine servicing done on my vehicle, and I drove over, parked outside, entered the side door of the showroom, checked in my vehicle with the service manager (who’s one of the owners), and sat down in the waiting area. A few minutes later, a gray-haired man I didn’t know walked in greeted the service manager (but did not check in a vehicle as far as I could tell), and then proceeded to walk very slowly directly in front of me, which was odd. The man passed me and then proceeded to cross the rest of the showroom and sit down in a chair in front of the sales manager’s desk (also one of the owners). The two of them then started what turned into a lengthy and loud conversation about politics (mainly how much they hated President Obama). As they talked, I could scarcely believe my ears—I immediately recognized the stranger’s distinctive high-pitched voice as my suspicious caller of 2 years ago.

My suspicions seemed to be confirmed when the sales manager called the stranger “Jim”, since I’d always believed my caller was a former Secret Service agent and DHS consultant named Jim Ferrier who was from Wisconsin. Earlier in 2007, my lawyer at the time had provided me with a letter (but no report) from Mr. Ferrier stating he would be willing to testify in court as an expert witness that the fraudulent trust document forming the basis of the case was not manipulated, which I knew for a fact to be untrue. Mr. Ferrier was the only person I knew of from Wisconsin, and he had quit the case abruptly when I pointed out to my attorney that my ex-husband had a WI checking account, that there was a prominent local realtor named Ferrier who had a local maiden name (probably Ferrier’s wife, by her age), and that there was a speech therapist at the local hospital who was also named Ferrier (their son?).

The two men were soon joined by the female office manager of the dealership, who came out of her office, pulled up a chair, and joined the men in talking loudly. This office manager happens to be the sister of a local police investigator who had just returned from a trip to Quantico, VA with his partner after being asked to present a local unsolved homicide case to FBI profilers there. (This case involved local police officers arriving on the scene extremely quickly and originally ruling the death accidental until a M.E. ruled it a homicide.)

The three of them continued to talk loudly for the rest of the time I was there, and I believe the stranger left right after I did. It’s also important to note that another of the owners of this dealership (all brothers) was the mayor of our city at the time my husband left—and at the same time that the brakes on my vehicle kept suddenly failing and the dealership could not seem to fix them despite repeated attempts over a 6-month period. I believe the former mayor joined the conversation group at some point, but I got busy with my own business and lost track of the group while checking out and preparing to leave.

As I said before, sometimes my good musical ear comes in handy. Now I know what my suspicious caller looks like as well as sounds like, which means I’ll be able to identify him every time he sits down near me at high school football games, my children’s music concerts, etc. as other local law enforcement officers and associates of my ex-husband and his family routinely do to harass me. (You can bet I’ll be logging each of these events in my logbook of incidents, too.)

Construction Update

Frantic construction continues along my western fence line--down in a large ditch, underneath a large power line, out in the middle of an open field, and on the completely opposite side of my property from anything else medical/developed. It's blatantly obvious to anyone driving by that the intent is to deliberately surround our house with development in order to justify the enormous increases in my tax appraisals.

This is clearly conspiracy involving the persons fronting for my ex-husband by claiming to own the property being built on (remember, my children said long ago that their dad showed them blueprints for these buildings and told them he would be the one building them; I documented this in letters to authorities and law enforcement at the time; this land also directly adjoins land from two of the suspicious death victims), public officials, and others. Law enforcement all the way up to the Department of Justice knows about all of this through my numerous complaints and still does nothing, which means the people doing this are also free to do this to others--and it is well-known around town that a new outer loop around the city is planned, so there WILL be other victims.

Hopefully all of these will survive, but given the past, you can't count on it. The only reason I'm still alive is that I've made such a public appeal for help to both the media and law enforcement. There have actually been a number of attempts on my life in the past, but it's now reached the point where my ex-husband can't afford the scrutiny of his finances and his character that an investigation and major media attention would bring.
